TOUCH OF CLASS DANCE
Touch of Class Dance is Chester and Delaware County’s premier studio, where creativity, fitness, and fun come together for dancers of all ages. We offer a wide range of programs designed to meet every dancer’s age, level, and goals:
Children’s Program (Ages 2.5–Kindergarten): A joyful introduction to dance through tap, ballet, and creative movement, while helping young dancers build coordination, confidence, and developmental skills.
Recreational Program (Grades 1 & Up): A structured yet exciting curriculum that strengthens technique, improves movement quality, and fosters a lifelong love for dance across multiple genres.
Competitive Company: A pre-professional program for dedicated dancers ready to refine their artistry, gain audition experience, and prepare for future opportunities in the dance industry. Dancers compete at top-tier competitions regionally and nationally, while also training with professional teachers in the industry who provide the knowledge and guidance to inspire and educate the next generation of performers.
TOCD Dance Team: Designed for dancers with a passion for performing and community involvement, this program opens doors to unique experiences. Members build connections with colleges, explore Dance Team opportunities at the collegiate and professional levels, and perform at exciting venues like the Wells Fargo Center. Dancers also gain access to specialized classes such as Turns & Leaps, Strength & Conditioning, Pom, and more.

DOWNINGTOWN MUSIC ACADEMY
Downingtown Music Academy is a welcoming community music school in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, dedicated to helping students of all ages and experience levels discover the joy of making music. We offer lessons in voice, piano, guitar, ukulele, drums, bass, strings, and woodwinds while fostering creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love of music. Our performers range from young beginners taking the stage for the first time to experienced teen and adult musicians. Through recitals, community performances, and outreach events, we strive to inspire, connect, and enrich our community through the power of music.
SCHOOL OF ROCK HOUSEBAND
The School of Rock opened in Downingtown in 2004 and has been rocking the suburbs ever since. The school teaches music through performance, combining individual lessons with group rehearsals. Students demonstrate their progress on stage in real live rock concerts and form lifelong friendships in the process. The school’s houseband consists of some of its most talented and dedicated students and regularly performs throughout Chester County at events like Fallfest. SHANNON COOPER’S DANCE ACADEMY
Shannon Cooper's Dance Academy, LLC is located in Thorndale and offers classes for ages 3 and up in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Pointe, Pilates, Flexibility, Turns & Leaps, Breakdance, and Hip Hop. Their non-competitive performance team performs throughout the year for the community as well as for benefits for breast cancer, leukemia, and autism. CHESTER VALLEY DANCE ACADEMY

HARRISON DANCE STUDIOS
Harrison Dance Studios is a beloved, family-run business with a rich history that spans over three generations. Founded in the 1940s in this charming town of Downingtown, our studio has been a cornerstone of dance education and community connection for decades. In the 1960s, we expanded to West Chester, continuing our commitment to nurturing dancers of all ages and skill levels. As a female-owned small business, we take pride in fostering a supportive, empowering environment where students can thrive both artistically and personally.
At our Downingtown location, we offer a vibrant array of recreational dance classes, including ballet, tap, and jazz, available for children as young as 3 years old through adults. Every Monday night, we host recreational gymnastics lessons, providing a well-rounded experience that emphasizes fun, fitness, and foundational skills-without the stress of competition. Throughout the week, our dance classes focus on developing technique, confidence, and a love for movement, ensuring each student receives personalized attention in a nurturing setting.
Our West Chester studio is a hub for dancers of all ages, featuring a unique "Grown Up and Me" class designed for our youngest students as early as 18 months old. This class fosters early motor development and bonding through movement and music. In addition to recreational classes, West Chester specializes in ballet, tap, and jazz, with a strong emphasis on preparing students for our own competitive and professional dance companies. Our dancers have achieved remarkable success in competitions and performances, but more importantly, they develop discipline, teamwork, and resilience that benefit them beyond the dance floor.

One of our most treasured traditions is our annual production of The Nutcracker, a magical holiday event that has become a cherished community celebration. All students from both studios are invited to participate without the need for auditions, making this a truly inclusive experience. This year, we are excited to kick off the holiday season with performances on November 29th and 30th at Villa Maria Academy High School. Tickets will be available in early November, so mark your calendars for this enchanting event.
